Rose Bowl Flea Market Returns to Pasadena This January |
The Rose Bowl Flea Market is one of Southern California’s most iconic shopping experiences and it returns to Pasadena this January. |
Held on the second Sunday of every month, this massive outdoor market has built a worldwide reputation for its size, variety, and unmatched selection of vintage and collectible finds.
Featuring more than 2,500 vendors, the market attracts everyone from casual shoppers and interior designers to serious collectors and celebrity stylists. Visitors can browse a constantly changing mix of antiques, vintage clothing, furniture, handcrafted goods, artwork, and unique merchandise that cannot be found in traditional retail stores.
The event takes place at Rose Bowl Stadium, located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive in Pasadena. The flea market is held rain or shine on the second Sunday of every month. The next event is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Shoppers are allowed to enter starting at 5:00 AM, with shopping available until 4:30 PM. Vendors may begin packing up after 3:00 PM, so early arrival is strongly recommended for the best selection.
Admission tickets must be purchased online in advance, as onsite ticket sales are generally not available. VIP admission runs from 5:00 AM to 8:45 AM and starts at $20 per person. Regular admission runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and starts at $13 per person. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult.
Free parking is available in surrounding lots, though visitors should expect a longer walk to the entrance. Paid preferred parking closer to the market is also available for those who want quicker access. Because of the market’s size, visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for extensive walking, mostly on asphalt. Bringing cash can make transactions and bargaining easier, although many vendors also accept credit cards and digital payment apps such as Venmo and Zelle.
Staying hydrated is important, so water, hats, and sunscreen are recommended, especially on warmer days. Packing snacks can help avoid higher stadium concession prices, and wagons or large tote bags are useful for carrying purchases.
For tickets and the most up to date event information, visitors should check the Rose Bowl Flea Market website before attending. |
