There is a dog at the Liberty, MO, animal shelter who just might steal your heart the moment you lock eyes.

Her name is Dolly, and much like the legend she is named after, she has a personality that lights up every room she enters.

This sweet girl carries a warmth that is impossible to ignore.

Dolly thrives in the company of people and fellow dogs alike, bringing equal parts playful energy and calm affection to every interaction.

Whether it is a spirited romp with a four-legged friend or a quiet evening curled up beside someone she trusts, Dolly adapts beautifully to the rhythm of home life.

She is not just a pet — she is the kind of loyal companion who will grow alongside your family for years to come.

Dolly arrives fully ready for her forever home — spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so the transition is as smooth as possible for any adopter.

Shelters across the region are seeing strong interest in adoption, making now a compelling time to act before a dog like Dolly finds her match.

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., though hours are subject to change.

Prospective adopters are encouraged to complete an online application before their visit to help move the process along.

If you have been waiting for a sign to adopt a dog, consider Dolly your sign.
