If you think vanilla and chocolate are the only ways to enjoy ice cream, a visit to Heaven Creamery may change your mind.

Located at The Streets at SouthGlenn, Heaven Creamery is a locally rooted artisan creamery known for combining familiar favorites with creative flavors inspired by cultures around the world. From rose petal pistachio and coconut lychee to taro, key lime pie and strawberry-beet-dragonfruit, the rotating selection makes every visit a new experience.

Centennial holds a special place in the company’s history. Founder Martha Trillo and her team opened the first location bearing the Heaven Creamery name at The Streets at SouthGlenn in early 2020. Since then, the Colorado-born business has expanded to several communities while remaining committed to its original philosophy: use wholesome ingredients and never cut corners.

A Different Kind of Frozen Treat

Heaven Creamery makes its frozen desserts with approximately 50% less sugar than traditional recipes. Instead of refined white sugar or corn syrup, recipes may use sweeteners such as agave, honey, cane sugar, stevia or monk fruit.

The creamery also avoids artificial flavors, artificial colors, gums and inexpensive fillers. Its ice cream begins with a house-pasteurized cream base, while its gelato is made with milk. Vegan gelato is produced with coconut or oat milk, and sorbets use a water-based recipe.

The result is a dessert designed to let the primary ingredients—not excessive sweetness—take center stage.

Plenty of Choices for Different Diets

One of Heaven Creamery’s standout qualities is the range of options available to customers with different dietary preferences. The shop typically offers 24 dairy ice cream and gelato flavors alongside approximately 18 vegan selections. Most flavors are also gluten-free, and no-added-sugar choices are available.

That variety makes the creamery an especially appealing stop for families and groups. Dairy lovers, vegan customers and adventurous eaters can all find something to enjoy in the same place.

Customers will encounter recognizable classics, but the more unexpected creations are part of the fun. Past offerings have included rose petal pistachio gelato, activated-charcoal vegan gelato, ricotta amarena and even a green blend featuring spinach, kale, spirulina, avocado and banana. With more than 500 homemade flavors in rotation, the hardest part may be deciding which one to try.

More Than Scoops and Cones

Heaven Creamery’s menu extends beyond traditional cups and cones. Depending on the season and availability, visitors may find gelato cakes, crêpes, fruit pops, affogatos, specialty coffee drinks, warm brownies, apple pie à la mode and other house-made treats.

The shop’s colorful displays, broad selection and family-friendly atmosphere make it a fun destination for an afternoon treat, an after-dinner dessert or a casual outing with friends.

Heaven Creamery shows that a frozen dessert can be both imaginative and thoughtfully made. Whether you choose a classic chocolate, a fruit-forward sorbet or one of the creamery’s more adventurous international flavors, this Centennial original offers plenty of delicious reasons to return.

The apple pie à la mode is seriously the best thing in winter. I hope they bring back the ricotta amarena gelato soon!

Prices are a bit higher but honestly worth it for how everything tastes. Much better than the chains nearby.

Huge fan of their late hours. Sometimes you just want ice cream after dinner and most places are already closed.

Honestly, some of the flavors are a little too wild for me. But the regular vanilla is very good, you can taste the quality.

Gelato cake for birthdays is so much better than boring grocery store options. They totally nailed my son’s party last year!

SouthGlenn needed a spot like this! Finally somewhere the whole family can actually find something to eat, allergies and all.

Wish there were more places like this around. Prices are a little high but worth it for something handmade. Bonus points for affogatos!

We agree, handmade quality is worth savoring, and the bonus of affogatos makes the experience even sweeter!

I like that they have stuff for everyone. I’m lactose intolerant, my wife eats gluten free, and the kids can be picky. This is one spot we all agree on.

Tommy H.Same here! It's tough finding a treat spot that pleases everyone. Heaven Creamery's vegan pistachio is my go-to, and my husband's obsessed with the gluten-free brownie. Glad it's not just us!

Some flavors are a little out there for my taste (activated charcoal?) but my kids are obsessed with the fruit pops.

Not sure how I feel about spinach and kale in my ice cream, but my wife talked me into the green blend. It was surprisingly tasty! Might stick to chocolate though.
