On January 1, 2026, that tradition returns once again as thousands gather for the world-famous Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.

The route still stretches the full 5.5 miles, but the experience never feels the same twice. New floats, new faces, fresh designs, and the same unmistakable feeling of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with your community to kick off the year right.

The parade steps off at 8:00 a.m. sharp.

Here’s how the day will unfold:

📍 2026 Rose Parade Route

  • Start: Green Street & Orange Grove Boulevard, Pasadena

  • Travels north briefly on Orange Grove at about 2.5 mph

  • Makes the famous “Turn” onto East Colorado Boulevard, where most of the prime viewing happens through Old Town

  • Final stretch: North on Sierra Madre Boulevard

  • Finish: At Villa Street

🚧 Street Closures & Planning Ahead

Colorado Boulevard will close for staging beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, and will remain closed until about 2:00 p.m. on Jan. 1 after cleanup wraps up.

Closures affect:

  • Colorado Blvd. from Orange Grove to Sierra Madre

  • Sierra Madre Blvd. north to Paloma Street

If you’re hosting guests, running deliveries, or planning a watch partymmake sure everyone arrives before 10 p.m. After that, access gets tight and parking becomes a real challenge.

🪑 Curbside Camping Rules

  • Curbside camping begins at Noon on Dec. 31

  • At 11:00 p.m., spectators may move up to—but not past—the Blue Honor Line

  • All blankets, chairs, and personal items must stay on the curb until that time

🏃‍♀️ Midnight Tradition Returns

For the third year in a row, the New Year’s Lululemon 5K will run through part of Colorado Boulevard at midnight, ringing in 2026 with movement and momentum.

By 2:00 p.m. on New Year’s Day, the streets reopen to normal traffic, and the roses, waves, and crowds fade back into memory… until next year.
